Well you’ve Bypassed the FX. If that CHAIN Icon is still GREEN then you do have an Active FX. Click on it to discover just what VIDEO FX you have. Clicking on BY PASS isn’t a solution. Do you understand?

Hi Willem! That’s an excellent Controlled test. Need a detailed ScreenGrab of your Timeline to determine just what you’ve done. Are you adding the Blue to a New Project?

April 21, 2020 at 12:04 am in reply to: How to do a simple b-roll insert with in and out point?[Bill Thomas] “Also, is there a way to insert just the video part of the clip?”
Hi Bill! Make your Selection in Trimmer by Dragging and then hit TAB. Keep hitting TAB and this will let you to “cycle” through VIDEO and AUDIO, or VIDEO or just AUDIO. Now, if you’re careful you can actually DRAG Select your choice ????.
This is how I do 90% of my Edit assemblages for the Timeline. I now couldn’t do my Edit assemblages without Trimmer. It gives me an Organic or natural outcome to my storyline.
