  • Video and Audio Tracks are Separate When Imported In?

Posted by John Lee on April 21, 2020 at 11:39 pm

I must have done something with my Magix 14. When I import a video clip onto a track, the video and audio are now separate from one another, not linked like it always is.

Is there a way to change it back to normal? I’m sure it’s an easy solution, but I’m stumped. Thanks.

Assuming that you are using Vegas Pro 14. Most likely, you have the IgnoreEventGrouping button depressed as shown on the bottom taskbar. Make sure that it is off (no blue background).

    Yes, Magix 14.

Thanks to both of you for reply. You are correct – I must have somehow clicked on that button. ALT-SHIFT-U did the trick.
