[karl hungus] “shame it’s not so simple in vegas”

Quite. Thinking “Graphics” in Vegas is a well worn, tiring dusty track. Look closely on the sides of that road and you’ll notice the cavernous, hollow-out eyes of those who’ve tried. Graphic enough?

Static, graphics. Moving eyes, Trackdom. There is yet another alternative – GIFs!

How many sets of eyes? One, two ….. how many? Each set requires a separate Track. As I said, both messy and time consuming.

Yeah, the Mask doesn’t cut ’em out, so you can Paste the eyes somewhere else. Nice idea though! My opinion? Do it in a graphics editor and be done. Doing it in Vegas will be real messy and time consuming.

[Francois Pénzes] “Never use third party codecs on your LNE unless you want to muck it up. There are numerous posts on this subject in this forum.”

Yes and double yes. So many experiences concerning CODEC Wars on a PC to make any editor quake. Nasty stuff.

[Andhika Nagami] “instead it sounds like a terrible violin.”

    OOps . .

OK, really sounds (no pun intended here!) here that there is a mismatch with the MEDIA and yout Project Settings. Then maybe your CODECs. I’ve had to re-scan my VST folders sometimes too.

So, to help us to help you:

1/- Have you had success doing exactly this before now?

2/- What is the Media Info on this File?

3/- What are your Project Settings for AUDIO on this one? I see you haven’t SAVED this Untitled Veg File yet, wehich kinda infers you haven’t yet set your Project Settings OR that you have your PS to use a previous setting – here, that would be the Audio – yeah?

4/- Ah yes . . Is your Soundcard part of your PC ‘s MoBo or a separate Card?

[Ángel Molina López] “How can I bend a line as the example below while it’s moving around the comp?”

In VP? Quick answer, no. Longer answer? Noooooooo…… Yes in VP we can Distort and Deform stuff, but this type of outcome is best suited to a package that does it straight off the bat.

[Ron Wildhaber] “I forgot to uncheck Enable DV device control in my preferences.”

Oh yes…. That’s what I grimly remembered when I alluded to we can’t control the stream.

    Real glad you got there.
