    What i mean is if I need to drop a lot of objects that way and have it do that springy motion when it lands.
    Another thing. Is there a way to offset your expression so #1, it doesn´t start right away and #2 so the layers doesn´t move in synch?

    Thank´s again!

    Hi Eric and thank´s a million for that solution!
    Even if I can`t keyframe it, it will work great for my needs!

    Do you have a clever suggestion for animating it to? (think of holding an object in your hand and looking down and dropping it)

    Managed to figure it out:

    temp = thisComp.layer(“soundkeys”).effect(“Sound Keys”)(“Output 2”);
    [value[0], temp, value[0]]

    Thank´s but not really.
    I know an expression for random stills from motionscripts.com but what I would like to do is let the audio keyframes trigger the stills.

    Thank´s for all your tips!
    I usually have a lot of dv clips and maby I´m processing just a couple in AE. So doing an animation render and change the timeline settings in final cut to animation isn´t a very good way to work in my case.

    Is this just an issue with dv files or is it applicable with other codecs as well?
    I´m working more and more on dvcpro 50.

    Thank´s Steve!
    So wich is the best solution to get from final cut to after effects and back?
    Since AE recompresses my original dv file and Final cut recompresses an animation file
    I will always get a worse result when processing a clip in AE?
