I totally agree with you but I prefer to express myself in a nice manner, just my personality. 🙂
The best way to achieve what I originally asked for is to use the shortcut “Y” to slide the clip without affecting the keyframe position.

Thank’s for that heads up regarding AME!
I rarely use it so that could not be an issue in my case though.
AME is a whole story by itself that Adobe needs to take a serious look at.
In my case I can’t batch export AME anymore for instance.
And then there is the pixel aspect issue when trying to get an SD FHA from an HD source….

Sorry to hear that you have the same problem.
I have discovered another thing that doesn’t work;
When I change the metadata on RED files in Red Cine X, the files doesn’t update in Premiere. I bet that is related somehow.
I’m thinking of removing the Quadra card to see if that could be the issue. I have experienced some other issues since I installed it.

Hmm… I don’t have a Kona card in mine and no hackingtosh either.
But I do have an Nvidia 4000.

I actually reinstalled Premiere and the crash occured again. I did the usual update process to the latest version and the application manager started it’s thing. During the update process I quit Premiere and this time it didn’t crash!!!???
But after the update was completed the problem is back…

This is driving me nuts!

Could it be that you have rendered and that is what you see and not the actual media?
