Thanks Brian… this is in fact what I was looking for… However I think I was not as clear in my question as I should have been.

What I want to be able to do is “Select” points or polygons while an object is being deformed. And then use the move tool or scale tool.

For some reason this does not work even with deormed edit selected. I guess the selection tool assumes the points are existing at the actual undeformed coordinates rather than the deformed :visual” coordinates.

Which is odd becouse things like the pull, smear, smooth brush do infact work great in deformed mode but the selection tool doesn’t

    Or does it???

Apparently the multi pass n eeds to be saved as a targa file. As a tiff, it just comes across as a plain ole RGB file

    Thanks. Very Helpful

Is this Cinema 9.5? My Composite tag doesn’t have nearly as many options… AND I have tried it and I don’t get an Alpha Channel through the Multi Layer save… I just get the same RGB file as the regular save…

    I must be missing something

    Thanks

That’s sort of it…. Unfortunately once I change the begin & end % the object distorts terribly. I’ve used the Path Adaption check box which works nicely with the Beginning and end at 0% and 100% respectively but once I change those… I get bad bends

I checked out the website… you can’t really find shader II Pack unless I go directly through your link

    Thanks

Unfortunately JeremyWs tutorials are older files and there is a plug-in he uses that I don’t have so the file doesn’t work. and there I don’t know what the plug-in is.

It is nice to know that it is possible… now I just hae to figure out how

    Thanks
