To make the solution you are talking about useful to people, itshould be in a separate post with a proper heading that refers to what you are talking about.

Windows 7 isn’t supported…doesn’t mean it won’t work.
Just means they don’t test it, and won’t really answered questions about issues with it
I just switched everything over to windows 10 a couple of months ago…I would try v16 on win 10.

You have nothing to lose.

Your hardware will be your most limiting factor. I think my laptop is running 15 in win 7.

Could simply be a playback issue depending on hardware and sources.

I would suggest you choose a different lut…or grade without a lut.
You LUT doesn’t have settings for you to tweak…it is what it is.
You could try putting the LUT into your pipeline at a different location, and colour before it to try to counter act the clipping….but it would be just as easy to not use the LUT.

what is your timeline set to?
If you are on a 1080 timeline or a UHD timeline, you need to setup your frameflex to achieve full screen raster, as your files are not in the 16:9 format…effectively doing some sort of crop to achieve a full screen raster.

Did you shoot this with anamorphic lens’? This can change how you have to handle the footage as well.

But if you are doing an actual round trip, are you not automatically getting clips without the speed changes out of Resolve? And are those not automatically re added back in Premiere?

Thats how Avid used to do it.

**Disclaimer*** I don’t use Premiere, only Avid, and i don’t typically do the round trip workflow anymore…but that is how it used to work.

Fusion definately can…i do it all the time.
(stand alone fusion 9 anyway)

You import the file, and then in its attributes section you can select format and pic a layer.

Did you start a new set of settings?

When jumping to 2019, you should start a new user and new settings…start from scratch.

At that point, you should see them on the timeline.

otherwise, they should be in the command palate somewhere to map them.

Typically you would colour each side of the dissolve independently and add you own dissolve inbetween…matching the speed and position of the original dissolve.

The first thing to check when a relink to a timeline won’t work is whether your timeline clips have the conform lock turned on. Default for an imported timeline is to lock.

Try selecting all clips on your timeline, right click and turn off the conform lock option.

This will allow these clips to be conformed to other media.

From there, if you still can’t get anything to work, it becomes a bit of a trouble shooting excercise.

I typically concentrate on 1 clip’s metadata, and compare it to the clip that i’m trying to link it to. What is different, and how can I get Resolve to ignore that difference.

But for sure the conform lock will stop you before you even get started.
