It is a small drop out. All most like one dropped frame. The original file is fine, and if I more the edit point, then the drop out moves with it.

I’m having a problem when I switch video angle only I still have a slight hiccup in the Audio. This is a two hour event with audio from the sound board going to the main camera. All files have been optimized and I still get a small glitch on about half the cuts. This continues even after rendering and exporting.

Thanks Andy, but it is in the final output, not just when I am cutting. When the project is done and I export it, it’s still like that.

Thanks Guys, I appreciate the input.

  • Communicating with your regular clients before you go and planning the extra time to wrap things up are the keys.

You should also plan some extra time when you get back to take care of what ever came up when you were gone.

I thought I had my last vacation planned perfect. I had everything finished up before I left and had a nice project schedule for right when I returned. All my regular clients wished me well and I was off. After I got back I had a bunch of things pop up from when I was gone for the week. It made the following two weeks rather busy and I felt like I needed another vacation.

Why is it we have to work twice as hard for three weeks, just to get one week off??

    Cheers,
    Glenn

    Thank Chris,

I certainly need to get my hands on one before I buy it. I will be using this hand held outdoors, and will need to pan quickly to keep up with the action.

    Thanks Chris,

Good advice about renting it first.

The CMOS ship doesn’t excite me, but I have heard Panasonic has managed to get a great picture out if it. But I always want to hear the down side. Is there anything specific you found disappointing?

I have a Sony Z1 and for home I have a HMC-40, so I see this has moving up a step or two as it will be my first full size camera.

    Cheers,
    Glenn

Thank you Steve. Nothing out of NAB seemed like a better option than the 370. and I guess if the new stuff still isn’t shipping, anything else is still a long way out.

    I agree with Michael.

I cut a lot of programs that start with a line cut, but need to be trimmed down to a specific length. Making the line cut part of the multi cam makes it easy to find the same spot in all the clips at once.

Depending on your project you don’t even did to cut up the line cut. Just cut to the proper camera angle every time you see the line cut change angles.
