[Jeremy Garchow] “When is someone going to offer the life subscription? For $xxxx.xx per month, you get the house, the spouse, the kids, the car, the computer, the software, the insurance, the music, the movies, the technology, everything but the decent education and a well paying job.”

They have something close to that. Instead of the spouse you get an ex-wife and it’s called alimony and the ex gets it all.

    Bret,

Does this work with two other monitors attached or only one? I can’t seem to get the HDMI to work on my 5770 also flashed for Mac.

Is it limited to 2 monitors total?

Check to make sure “Better Performance” is selected and not “Better Quality”

Thank you Robin. I tried every key combination in the inspector window and on screen controls, but I did try the HUD.

I agree with David, that you are better off letting both cameras run for the entire game. You can use a slate, clap your hands (If the cameras are close enough that they will both catch the audio) or a camera flash as a sync point when you start the cameras rolling. I think it will be easier to go through the hour of footage then it will be to sort and sync the 50 clips. You can make log notes during the game when something good happens so you know right where to go when you start editing.

If you don’t run the camera’s the entire game make sure your timecode is in Free run or time of day mode. You can still use one of the above sync methods for the multi-cam set up.

Thanks Loren. I’ll try creating a template in Motion so it can build the folder structure, then transfer the templates over.

    Cheers,

    Hi Steve,

I have the exact same setup. I am thinking about adding a 5770 to see if I can benefit from two graphics cards.

Does anyone know if the cards have to match?

A client gave me a thumb drive with .mts files on it and 10.0.9 would not recognize them, but 10.1 does. No fold structure or last clip.txt file just the .mts files and I can import them no problem. I am not sure what camera it was shot with but the according to FCPX it h.264

I am working on a new project now and so far so good.

What I like about it, is it seems like Apple did listen to a lot of feed back. There are some fundamental changes here that, imo show Apple tried something new and it didn’t work. So they made the changes that made sense to the people using the application.

There are still features that are missing but I certainly feel Apple is listening.
