you must remember that Nanoflash record in quick time or mxf, I-frame only or Longop mpeg; so you can use it in mac and pc world without problems; you can recrod SD or HD and use it as an HDSDI to HDMI converter, and for 3D shoting too. I guess in the mac world Ki-Pro work easier, but you are not all the time in mac world, some times you will have some client that need the material in other formats for pc, then Ki-Pro is almost out, but Nanoflash can play in both wolrds. (sorry for my bad englesh). https://www.gecofilms.cl

I was playing a little bit with the plugin, and my conclutions are: 1.- to slow down a 50% is allways better the nle tools, in my case Sony Vegas 10c 64bit. 2.- is really usefull when go go to a 5% of speed, then you get a real diference and all the jerky things that the plugin put near the moving objects don’t matter.
So the plugin is for make really very slow motion, not little slow motion. Sorry for my english.

I use Vegas 9e Pro 64bit and DVD Arquitect 5.0 to burn Bluray’s all the time. Is powerfull and very compatible with many formats, any way the render to finalize the BluRay is always long, I have a hell of PC with 12GHz in CPU (quad core 3GHz each) 8 Gb Ram super fast memories, 1Gb video card, 4Tb hard disk sata runing in Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit; and take about 3 hours to make a full BluRay with 2 hours of video on it. I use HDV, XDCAM, Mov, HDCAM HD, etc, and never have a “Blurry” BluRay; when you have that problem is because your material have a problem, thats why I use 2 monitors full HD 1920×1080 23″ to visualiza correctly in full size.

Yep, you are right, is better work thinking in the no pro people, that way you’ll be always in to a safe area. Any way the safe area for an LCD is about 3 or 5% no more than that; in old TV’s go’s around 10% and more in the corners.

that is true in some LCD, but in the good ones you can adjust the size to full frame and move all that information inside the viewable area.
