Yes… I have tried, but all those choices (when I double-click or right click) are ghosted out, so I can’t even choose anything. And true, it should have just automatically updated when I opened AE, which was yes, strange that it hadn’t. Not sure too, I may have to just bite the bullet and re-animate by uploading the updated file. For your last paragraph, that may be the cause – I do believe I added a new file within, but deleted it before I saved it, and still, the minor editing I did on the PS file doesn’t update in AE, so looks like I’ve tried everything and will just have to do a redo. But thanks for your reply! Appreciate it —

I should also mention, that I have tried double clicking and right clicking the PS file in question in AE, but its not updated from what I edited in PS

So, I have been researching across the web, so Ill try a few of the answers there, such as try CPU instead and clear out the Media Cache… We’ll see. Plus, I’ll check the report and hopefully see what’s crashing it at the very last minute… That’s where I have a Trapcode particle effect, but its so minimal.

Incredible!! That solved it! Thank you kind sir…

BUT, if I may… I noticed that the video playback is a little dark in the beginning for some reason. Is there a tweek to the software videolan? Its not dark on the AE file, so just wondering…

Thank you – Rotoscoping may solve the issues, but this animal is pretty hairy… so I wonder. The link is helpful!

As a note, I used Unmult, which has the same effect as using key color and linear color key etc, etc… as they all have the same outcome – they remove the black (Alpha?) background but makes the animal stock transparent. When sliders are adjusted, even slightly, it brings back the black background. Almost impossible. Hopefully I haven’t wasted my money with these Adobe stock vids — MANY THANKS for any help!

I can’t say much more than discovering my own mistake as above. I see that all looks well in your pic so it’s hard to say. Sometimes I save then shut down my computer and restart AE and that helps, as well, cleaning out my cache in AE which sometimes bogs things down and clears out the memory. Try those and see if that helps…?

Just got your replies and thank you both very much… I did figure it out late last night and indeed, as silly and as simple as it was… it always comes down to the basics – that my camera view was indeed somehow ‘locked’ onto a different camera… Thank you… I feel a bit stupid now why I didn’t see that in the first place. Still don’t know why though when I import images that they come in crooked instead of horizontally…

    THANKS!
