With the CS4-Intensity Pro Vista 64 drivers, the crashes are too rampant. But with CS3 no problems on these boards. So I use firewire with the CS4 until the driver issue improves. If you have any doubts then go for Q9650 since your load might not be all that intensive.

With regards to Black Magic Designs, they need to update their specs

Well I have Intel Core 2 Quad I7 920 Asus P6T Mainboard 6GB DDR3 1600 RAM,ATI HD4890 1G and another one with the Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R. The work almost the same. But for precaution use CS3 for the church or you might regret due to the crashes.
I use CS3 and at times 6.5(With Canopus) for the church projects and always on time.
Get the version that is trusted or you will lose face in the church.

I installed the intensity update and CS4 crashes on the DV preset. Even CS3 does not do better. Now back to 2.1 Anybody had a similiar problem?

Both cards are output cards and unlike Matrox and Canopus they can not come out at the same time. So make a movie and start a new DV project and import the movie and play the Dv out. You can also save a copy of the BMD project, start a new project and import it there. Of course you may do some re-rendering

Sorry for the delay. I was busy with some customers and no time for net browsing. My vendor is PC VILLAGE on Steeles and Keele 416-987 7196. The techie’s name is Matthew. He is a Guy with a good heart. His support is eternal and advises you if you need to wait for the Prices to go down and the best board to use. I wanted to change a 8400 dual core to 9650 quad, instead of making the sale to asked me to add few dollars to move to Core i7. Or wait to the summer and get the extreme or higher core i7 since I have on workstation to manage.
Try him you might even consider managing the Axio now that it supports the CS4 and grab a new faster system independent of HP rules
and expensive hardware and you will have 2 systems. CS4 works best on a new system in the Vista 64 environment with 8gb to burn.
    Good Luck

That of PPro is a little bit advance and to hassle to use. However, if you click the small icon(square box) at the top corner you get the photoshop style menu Levels tool simple histogram and sliders and you can the same results using the sliders.

I prefer that one and pretty fast too.
