  • A few years ago I had this same issue.
What I would do is shoot and edit in HD (Blackmagic design MJPEG format) then play out (render) the final edit for TV broadcaster to a MiniDV tape directly from Adobe Premiere Pro timeline. I didn’t have to convert anything.

My set up was a Canon XM2 with a MiniDV tape connected via firewire to my editing PC.

The quality was still mhe! but it was better than converting from HD to 576i via software.

  • In my experience using a BMD Intensity Pro on a Windows 7 PC I could only capture .AVI wrapped codecs,
Then when capturing in Premiere Pro CS6 I had an extra option of capturing in DVCPRO HD, as I recall it was the story that Windows system can’t capture anything else, it must be so though (when using BMD cards, because you didn’t have an issue with AJA as you mentioned),

[Myra Riddick] ” I can output video but am having a hard time figuring out why audio is not reaching the tape”

As for that issue I would recommend looking at the output settings on either BMD’s Media Express or Premiere Pro, to make sure the audio is being assigned out, maybe it is being output through somewhere else, I know BMD cards to be flexible that you can output audio one way and video another.

    I checked it out.
It doesn’t appeal to me well.
Maybe you can use a framework like Bootstrap to improve it’s layout, because just punching the CSS and Javascript can make you lose the design you want, another thing that can help is to have a drawing of the ideal layout for your website and then design your code accordingly.

It’s Just as Tero Ahlfors said. you can manually scale and rotate as needed from the effects tab on Premiere Pro.
A quicker way is to fix one then right click select the fixed clip on the sequence copy, go to the other pictures that need fixing and then select paste attributes. it will copy the rotation/scale attributes of the copied picture.

In CS6 you will have to re-link the media one by one.
it would also help if you tick the “display exact match” option on the dialog box when re linking so that you dont have to sift through the names, it will only display the name that matches the unlinked media you are searching for.
