    Thanks Walter,

I do realize I am a babe in the wilderness with this and I am very interested in getting professionals involved. At this point, I am trying to get my arms around what it will take to upgrade our attendee experience.

    Thanks for the reply.

We have hosted this event twice thus far and we want to take it to the next level, hence my questions. Do you have projector recommendations or what I should be looking for?

Thanks for explaining the roles but, I was more interested in how you actually manage all these media types in presenting them on the screen? I have looked at software Provideo Player but wondered if there were other options?

No anti-aliasing on crossing 3D particles? At all? Seems like they would want to make it an option instead of nixing it.

There are no PCI-X video cards so, you will have to replace the current AGP card with a replacement. I recommend either a 9800Pro or an X800. The latter will be significantly better though.

  • The only real potential candidates for updates would be the iMacs or the Mac Mini (If it isn’t dead. The MacPros are very UNLIKELY to get an update at WWDC.

  • A little more clarification…

If you have Final Cut Studio or you participated in the Cross-grade, you need to buy the $499 version. All others need to buy the $699 version.

That is as simple as I can see it.

Just remember, all OMF files are not created equal and this support only applies to certain apps. Ironically, Logic has the most limited support.

There have been others reporting shipment notices on upgrades.
