Thanks Peter…….also is the benifit of rendering to a avi file more secure/safer in the sense of not losing it, compared to just leaving it as a on going saved vcap file on your timeline until your ready to render to mpeg2?

I had something simular happen like that to me last night. Seemed like the message was something like yours. I realize my external hard drive wasn’t fully connecting/on…I checked the cable connections and restarted my computer and it worked.

Thanks for your reply. I just checked Verizon out on their service areas. My area on the Oregon coast is not covered with broadband. I live in a small coastal town 60 miles away from the city. I guess I could go digital like you once did with dial up modem. I wonder if it’s gotten any faster? I heard a year ago it’s speed was like 20 or so when a normal dial up connection should be around 45. This is probley my only option………thanks for your reply.

Thanks Edward for replying….The weird thing about the picture being scanned is the side of the picture that has the white border on it is not the side that goes up against side of the scanner…its the side thats not up against any scanner edge.
Also thanks Liam for replying but the reason i didn’t do a pan/crop because the client wanted to see the whole picture without losing anything and without panning.
I will use my photo editor to trim off the white border….but was just curious why it did that on 4 or 5 pictures out of 70?
