moving 3 time lines
I’ll write this down so i remember it this time….working in vegas, how do i move all 3 timelines video and audio and text media all at once forward without getting anything out of syn to close up a few second space?

If you delete a section from the timeline, you can then use ripple editing to close up that space. However, I find it much easier to select all events to the right of the cursor (for example) and then just move them left. To do that I use the Select Events tool in Excalibur. I know Ultimate S also has a similar function.

to delete a section and close up the gap do this:
select the section you want to delete
click the ripple button in the menu bar to turn ripple editing on (choose all tracks, markers, etc. from the drop down near the button)
press CTRL-A to select all
hit delete
then don’t forget to turn ripple editing off when done -
