shrinking the pictures
I’ve been told several times when doing a montage how to shrink the pictures to end at the end of the music because i have more pictures then the length of the music….but i can’t get it to work….Here’s what i’ve been trying to do to shrink the pictures……
Click on the first picture, shift click the last picture. Now press the “g” key to group them, next hold down the ctrl key and resize the group to be the proper length.It seems that what happens when i do this is that it re-copies/duplicates all the pictures on top of themselves again…or just moves one picture.
I have vegas5b and excalibur4.

Make sure that you hover over one of the outsides edges until you see the trim tool, THEN Ctr/drag.

Gary….Thanks so much…..the problem was just like you said….I wasn’t using the trim tool correctly………..Thanks again for you quick answer.
