stretching the pictures to music
On the timeline in vegas with a picture montage….How do you stretch the pictures longer to reach the end of the song….I know how to make the pictures shorter by selecting all the pictures and press G and hold down the ctrl key and resize the last pictures… but it didn’t work for making them longer. unless i did it wrong….Also whats the best way to put transitions manually between some pictures? I do have vegas5 and excalibur.

Also I did about 70 pan and crop pictures manually and I don’t want to lose the settings when i stretch the pictures…How would i retain the pan and cropping settings when stretching the pictures about another 30 seconds.

Click on the first picture. Shift-click the last picture. Now press “G” to group them. Next, hold down the CTRL key and resize the group to be the proper length.
