Right-click the track header and choose Audio Monitor >On. It’s off by default.

The most important keybaord stroke for me is Ctrl/Z (undo) 🙂

Also,I would recommend using Ignore Event Grouping instead of ungrouping and grouping events. You’ll get into a lot less trouble (and use fewer keystrokes). You can turn it on with the button on the toolbar or use the keystroke Ctrl/Shift/U. Better yet, you can remap the keyboard so it’s a single keystroke.

Are you wanting a scroll (horizontal) or a roll (vertical)? There are several presets for rolls in Generated Media > Credit Roll.

The number of tracks does not effect rendering time. It what’s on those tracks that determine how much math the computer has to do, so your file sizes, generated media, etc. will determine that. Yes, it may take a few hours.

Are you saying that the hesitations are seen in the finished DVD played on a DVD Player, or you are playing back the files on your computer? If it’s the latter, does the hesitation happen at the same point each time?
