  • Question on Rendering Speed.

    Hi,

I am doing a video production for a company which requires my video footage and a bunch of photos (about 150 of them) to be put together. So I am thinking of using many transitions to make the video and photos flow naturally as possible.

If I create 3 video tracks for each photo (photo, generated media and text), and my whole video is about 30 mins, would my rendering time be like hours? Given that I now have more than 150 tracks in a single veg file.

Or is there an efficient way to do this project to reduce the total rendering time?

    Thanks in advance.

The number of tracks does not effect rendering time. It what’s on those tracks that determine how much math the computer has to do, so your file sizes, generated media, etc. will determine that. Yes, it may take a few hours.

    Thanks Gary.

I also have ideas of using nested veg in my project for easy management of my sections of video. I presumed that also will not affect my rendering time too.

    Thanks once again.
