DVDs created in DVDA will play in all regions except if you set the region flag and send it out to a replication facility.

If your bridge footage is high contrast, you could easily create a travelling matte using the mask FX.

If you are creating a Bezier mask in Pan/Crop, place the bridge footage on a higher track so it is in front, and apply the mask to that.

Audio FX works the same as the Video FX. Do you have a more specific question?

What happens when you try to make it smaller? How are you trying to make it smaller?
The shortest it can be is 1 frame.

It’s not fixed. It depends on the bit rate.

Use either a short Fade Through White (in the dissolves section)transition, or on a track above, place a short white clip (media generator > solid)which fades quickly in and out.

You cannot turn that off, AFAIK.

You can either right-click and drag your media and choose to only add the video. You can also delete the newly added audio track easy enough.
