I’m having the exact same problem. Anyone figure this out.

    FYI –
The problem seems to be with DVDSP4, as FCP shows correct duration.

Apple is missing something. I concur 1000%.

  • Take a look at the alpha channel in AE, is it correct or solid white. I follow the same process, using the stock “lossless” setting in AE without difficulty every day.

I run AJA IOLA to an 1800 (Beta). I’ve NEVER had an accurate insert edit. Makes that tiny fix you notice as the show is rolling off a real pain. I’d love a way out.

Oh yeah, can’t set my window layout the way I like it either. I have to separate my bins from my browser manually. Makes changing layouts impractical.

    I’m downgrading after this job.

Fresh install of 5 with Tiger. The Viewer window is a mess. 20% of the time clips don’t show up. Sometimes I see them through the Aja and not in the viewer. Playing the viewer and setting in and out points causes horrible stutters in playback. Only crashed once, though. Motion crashes often.

Import the files into Final Cut, use media manager to back up the job, converting the codec at the same time. Logging info from Premiere will be lost.
