Haha – no. Just remembering when FCP would act up there was a whole drill for deleting and restoring preferences which would usually clear things up and wondering if Walter was prescribing a similar fix here.

I spoke too soon. On a freshly booted system in a different project with different effects, and after deleting caches I get the same problem. The dreaded red frames in Premiere are back with a vengeance, and Media Encoder seems to have caught that bug too.

As to preferences, are you suggesting some kind of Final Cut 4 trash preferences ritual?

    Thanks,

Hits? Isn’t that a Betacam thing? Oh well, one of these days someone is going to release some fully baked software. They’re getting better all the time!

Thats exactly what it seems like, and it has continued since uninstalling CC 2014. I’m going to replace my monitor cables and see what happens.

It wouldn’t be a big deal if I was working on short shows starting at 0 hour, but I’m cutting multicam sequences with time of day code…

Nope. What I’d like is to be able to type in seconds & frames (or minutes, seconds, frames) and have Premiere assume the current values for what is not entered.

Ahh yes, this and a conformable multi-cam and I’d live much more simply…

Out of the dropbox and no more problems! I’ll up the ante though… while the project was on Dropbox timelines that I rendered with Dynamic link through Media Encoder had missing assets. There on the line, not in the encode! Really hosed me.
