I agree completely

ALSO in my opinion could even be “TIMELINE RELATED” , so it cash things in the timeline such as sped changes and anything else that not effect the color tools

so

1 Global
1 for dissolves
1 for RAW based camera debayer
1 node specific
1 timeline (where applicable)

Actually multiple GPUs on a cubix in resolve speed things up greatly , the horse power and speed it grows as the number and power of CPU grows . resolve with 4 or 8GPU system has always been engineered this way , and benchmarks proof the increased speed and power .

My issue is about the rendered shot (or while playing it back , or render cached ) , the shot jumps all over the place ( like if it skip 24 frames every 40 frames , like huge stutters .

i will send a clip sample to support

i have 4 GPUs and i am getting a very jumpy image when i apply the plugin and i render it out ( literally unwatchable ) … (same using render cache preview )

anyone else is experiencing the same ?

I vote/ask for a new bigger/more advanced panel rather than keep improving the GUI for everybody’s free use , on every screen , any resolution /laptop etc…

Even if i vote for being focused on color tools for V11 , it is fare to say that since BMD bought davinci , quite many color tools has been updated

Hue curves
RGB Mixer
Log controls
Split combiner
Blending Modes
RGB , YUV , HSL

Again i hope for World Class New Keyer and Roto tools on V11 , i would have preferred if resolve would cost 50K , but is not fare to say that BMD have not improved the product immensely .

I think what Rohit and the guys at BMD did on V10 is quite great , we do need to be able to conform as best as possible in order to properly color correct in context ( AKA rebuild as much complex timelines as much as possible and have a bit of comfortable timeline .

But i do agree that the next version V11 should all be ALL focused on improving the color tools that are indeed getting outdate :

-keyer (the best friend of the colorist , the better it is the more value have the system)
-roto friendly tools (moka in it )

I still wish we could export the config setting as a file .
Otherwise when we need to work on another system we have to manually create the user and set everything manually ( and tehre are quite some preferences involved …)

yep , improving the speed changes is the next big thing i am waiting ,
sooooo many times i have to leave resolve and pass along shots to others (or i have issue with dynamics applied on shots that have speed changes )

1)because of the quality of the speed changes in Resolve (only frame duplication )
2)because the timeline/shot does not ripple when manually apply a speed change
3)because a dynamic or tracking applied on a shoot on XML that speed change applied on , does not properly translate to the master session (in order to render all the shots nice and clean )
