Well if anyone is interested, you open the seq in EDL manager, change the project type to 30i, and go to file>create composer sequence, and it will automatically dump the new seq into a bin of your choosing in Avid.

I don’t know about Premier cause I’ve never used it (though I would bet at least $15 that it’s fine) but for sure you can have Avid and AE on the same system. Having them open at the same time could slow things down a little depending on your setup.

Can your Avid capture video recorded using the DV codec, which is an absolute must?

In reagrds to 24pA, can you tell me how to remove the advanced pulldown while capturing from the DV codec?
