Flip the prores movs in QT player 7
command-J to open properties
select video track
visual settings: flip vertical-horizontal-rotate whatever..
save movie, ( no need to save as) done!

I do this all the time without rendering.

Running a Hack here with a quad core i7 @ 3.5 gHz. 24 GB ram
Problems with 4K BMCC RAW in combination with a GTX580 1.5 GB, lockups. slow playback) fine for HD…
swapped the card for a 6GB GTX 780 (around $ 575)
running 25 fps without any trouble, ….over a 10 gig ethernet SAN doing max 700 MB/s.

tried to run BMCC RAW from 2 striped internal HDD’s doing 240MB/s reads… still choppy!
You really need fast disks and some more GPU mem..

I am talking a less than 2200 U$ Hackintosh here… so a 12000 U$ maybe the ultimate solution, but definitely not necessary
to run 4K BMCC RAW.

Same issue here, encoding prores to MP4 (CC2014) on a Hack takes twice as long as it used to be on same system with ML and CC2013.
GPU does nothing, CPU really slow and never goes op to 100%
anyone?

I was thinking about doing the same, until I came across an HP XW4600 workstation for 225 euro’s…. also works flawlessly.

Hi Holger, nothing whatsoever, just started Davinci and opened project that I closed last night…..

The same project imported in the opened via XML in the guest account without problems, and the problem I had was there with every project I opened,

However the machine is working again, after closing and opening Resolve a couple of times…

after opening a couple of times the viewer came back to life showing illegal and strange colors in a playheads 2-up window.
I waited for a couple of seconds , switched to the next clip and VOILA! back to life!.

I am unable to repeat the problem , must have been a gremlin in the machine…
