Tried that.

It helps a bit, but the workflow eventually gets corupted no matter what I do. I think it’s maybe a Windows problem.

Duplicate it, flip it verticaly and blur it.

Or delete the AFX preference folder so that it creates a new one.

I just hate cheating though. I’m from a 3d backround and parenting issues like this eventually become a huge problem if you don’t do it right.
Is there no real way of doing it?

Are you using sound files in the comp? Are your preview areas quite big?
If so I’ve had the same problem for -ever and I use a PC. with 2 GIG’s of ram.

=I think its a mp3 and/or wav problem. Switching to other Audio formats usually helps.

PS: Wav. has less problems than mp3’s I find.

Hi. Thanks for the replies it cleared allot up for me.
When you say advanced- do you mean like a 90 page, multi cross referenced, mountain of a project??
I have fairly simple needs: The DVD’s are for Showreels so they just need to look pretty and play well… kind of like a female tennis player.

Thanks so much guys! I also use Photo Jpeg compression (A) for backups but it seems to make thinks go allot darker when pulled into a Mac?? Weird.
I’ll try Procoder and Cleaner and see if their Mpeg 2’s are better than AFX’s.
