    Are you using sound files in the comp? Are your preview areas quite big?
    If so I’ve had the same problem for -ever and I use a PC. with 2 GIG’s of ram.

    =I think its a mp3 and/or wav problem. Switching to other Audio formats usually helps.

    PS: Wav. has less problems than mp3’s I find.

    No audio at all. I have multi-processor support and the memory set to 160% of 2gig.

    I could be wrong, but if you do a search for “Gridiron” and “error”, you may find useful threads. Apparently, installing the Gridiron plug (but not necessarily using the plug) fixes an error, which may be the error you’re seeing.
