I’m having the same trouble with Vegas Pro 12. Trying to use the file as input to Architect 6.0.

I “render as” Main Concept MPEG-2 -> DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen Videostream.

Saw a youtube video that showed a file created with “Movie Studio” using chapter markers came into Architect with the markers showing up.

I see there’s an option in Architect that allows you to “insert scene/chapter marker”, but I hate to have to redo it (have 30+ chapters).

I guess this shows the frequency with which I use Vegas (not that much). I’ll check out the forums more thoroughly. I mis-read the original email – thought it was a ONE DAY sale. “Vegas 12 on 12/12/12!!!”

I had planned on being away from my computer most of the day. Since I have 2 more days, I can search these these forums for answers.

Any beta testers here that might let us know if it’s worth upgrading? I have Pro 11 and was sent the upgrade email this morning. The price is certainly right. I use it to edit home videos and NOT professionally. What does this do better (or worse) than 11?

That was the reason I chose Sony in the 1st place. I downloaded Movie Studio and was surprised I could use it for 30 days with NO restrictions. I could could create a movie of any length and burn it to a DVD if I wanted. I also downloaded Adobe Premiere. It allowed me to edit, but put a “Created with Trial version of Adobe Premiere’ across the middle of the screen. TACKY!!

I’m hoping my quad will be enough CPU to edit HD. RAM is also a concern at this point.
