Jeremy,

Being somewhat new to FCP, I’m not sure what you mean by: FCP will add 3:2 pulldown on output as long as you have the pulldown setup that way in the rt drop down menu.

Are you referring to the RT drob down menu on the left side of the sequence window? There is nothing there that says anything about 3:2 pulldown. Please explain…thanks.

Thanks for the response.

For the time being we’ll be mostly importing P2 MXF. Since I’ve originally posted my question I’ve done a bunch of research and it seems like Kona is the way to go. Not just from a functionality standpoint but from a support standpoint as well.

Thanks Noah. Do you have any experience with the P2 gear? Does it do a a good job of uprezing 720 to 1080? It’s really expensive but we’re considering that too.
