  • Hi Fabio

Move the track with the controller ahead by 1 frame and that should do the trick. If all your other points are in sync, then just ”CTL-S” to split you track and replace frames accordingly.

    Cheers !

  • Hi again Amanda

Forgot to add that you better clean your audio before using Levelator as it will also ”level out” any background noise.

    Cheers !

  • Hi Amanda

This is what I have been using for the past couple of years. This works great for talking heads or narration.

    Hope this helps.

  • Hi Amir

Which version of Vegas are you using?

    What are your render settings?

Depending on which render template your are using (Panasonic P2, Sony MXF, Sony HDCAM SR) you may not have the right or proper settings. MXF is a “container” or “wrapper” format which supports a number of different streams, encoded in any of a variety of video and audio compression formats.

Note that the free or cheap version of MXF export tools will not allow the user to create a stereo AES file within the MXF wrapper.

The sorta easy way out is to render the original audio track(s) to .WAV. Clean it up if need be and match and replace the audio before you render. That is what I usually do , especially when my original files are from different sources. At least I start off with balanced and clean audio

    Cheers !

    Hi Ric

I am going to assume that you meant 4:3 for the aspect ratio and that you are operating with the NTSC standard. If you are in PAL, apply these steps to PAL standard.

Open Vegas and first go to File / Properties
Change Template to NTSC DV (720×480, 29.970 fps)
Other pertinent settings are at your discretion.
    Apply and OK
    Import video
    Click on Event Pan/Crop
    Right click on image
    Choose Match Output Aspect
    Close window

Make sure that you Render settings match your project.

    Hi Ric

In Render As , bottom left corner checkmark the box for View all options.

Go to the right of the Search render templates box and click on More filter options (in blue)

Also, uncheck Show favorites only and Match project settings.

You may have to play with some of those not knowing what your original file is made of.

See if that helps. Let us know.

    Cheers !

    Hi Dennis

Mine did. It should but, bare in mind that not all PCs are built the same nor are the OS’s installed the same way. Your configuration may need some tweaking.

    Happy trails !
