Green screen is very tricky even in the best of conditions.

Most important question, did you do a white balance on the camera before recording ?

I need to know this before we get to the next step.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of light did you use when shooting that sequence.

The wavelength of the type of light you use will impact on your final result.

Also, did you white balance before shooting ?

Tried it with other rendering formats and could not reproduce the problem. I was hoping to keep all my files in the same format as the original files.

Yes, after I import it back to Vegas

With the Vegas included Waveform (luminance)

I’m using V.14 and Velocity only.

That’s the thing, it shouldn’t affect the luminosity as far as I understand it. There are no other effects applied, not even Event Pan/Crop. All files were shot with the same camera, same controlled lighting, on the same morning, inside.

I’m at a loss…

This is what I sometime use when I am in a bind or when I want to make the voice more anonymous. In your case, make sure that the Pitch shift is at No shift and he maintain timbre is selected. Then, just play with the Speed change, not to much or will start to sound funny. You can only use .WAV, .MP3 and .WMA files at 8 and 16 bits, not 24. Hey, it’s a free software…..
