One thing you could do is to rewire your deck with AES/EBU cables (not sure what deck you are using) to route channel 2 to channel 1. I think this relates to an old bug dealing with track mapping that was fixed several versions ago. Probably your timeline is from this old version which wrongly assigned the clip inputs from the audio tracks.

Hmmm, I am importing groups of several XDCam clips all the time into Media 100, and I don´t see any crashes there. Have you tried the Suite 1.6.2 version? Maybe there was something fixed in the meantime…
What formats/framerates/framesizes are you using? -
The AE importer has been updated several times in the last couple of releases between Suite 1.1.3 and now. As far as I can tell it has not been posted as an individual download, but you could download the latest trial version and get the newest AE plugin from this installer. On the other hand it could be the case that some changes had to be made to the actual Media 100 export to fix some bugs; I am not sure about that. So maybe the AE plugin alone would not help in this case. If you are still crashing with the newer plugin you could try the trial version of V1.6.2 to see if that fixes your problems.

On the Media 100 website are various older versions available for download (as long as you have the matching encryption code). So simply re-download your version and install it.

Then you should either delete your Media 100 preferences, or maybe use the “Reset Window Positions” command (maybe it is named differently; it should be down in the “Windows” menu). I guess the bin window opens outside your screen area. The italic name only means that you did not save the bin.

Aside from a few sync drop outs, the major problem is that it does not produce a visible bin where you can see your clips. The project window shows a bin (but almost an offline looking bin) When you click on the bin in the project window, nothing appears. There’s no bin window with the clips in it. The easiest way would be to re-download the installer and reinstall. Otherwise you need to start searching for the missing files on your old HD.

They are on your HD->Library->Application Support->Media 100->Transitions->Composite Suite

Depends on what resolution you are aiming at. Usually I would recommend encoding it into H264 for Youtube upload, since this is a pretty efficient distribution codec.

V12.x is definitely not tested with Snow Leopard, and I am not sure if it will work at all. If you want to try it, make sure to install Snow Leopard on a second drive (clone your boot drive to a new one with Carbon Copy Cloner). This way you could downgrade to OSX 10.4.11 in case of a problem easily. Or upgrade Media 100, since the latest version definitely runs on Snow Leopard…
