Suite 1.1.2 batch audio reacquire
Bringing back an old job and when we reacquire audio anything that is on track A1 in the program wants to pull from the wrong channel from beta (ch1 instead of ch 2). I thought I recall seeing a post about this but cannot find anything. Suggestions?

One thing you could do is to rewire your deck with AES/EBU cables (not sure what deck you are using) to route channel 2 to channel 1. I think this relates to an old bug dealing with track mapping that was fixed several versions ago. Probably your timeline is from this old version which wrongly assigned the clip inputs from the audio tracks.

That’s what I did, but just so I understand, this has to deal with the version of software under which the original program was created? Is there any other way to deal with this at the list level? Just feels like a major gotcha if you have to individually digitize each audio clip and base the wiring on what audio track its on.
Just want to understand what’s up…
