The backups of your timelines (if the backup function is turned on) should be in YourHomeFolder->Documents->Media 100 backups

Finally I found the time to install QuickTime 7.1.1 on one of our Media 100 i systems, and on this system (XS/SDI/DV) the DV option also works with QuickTime 7.1.1/10.4.6/V8.2.3a. Not really sure what is going on on your system.

one thing you definitely should check also is if the “Sync audio to ” setting is set to your selected out. So if you are mastering using the SDI 2 out or the Component out, make sure that SDI 2 or component is selected there.

your Comps are 720*480 instead of 720*486 which gives you the problem you are seeing. Go to your comp settings (CMD-K) and set them to 720*486 widescreen -

Are you sure that you are NTSC widescreen 720*486? The default NTSC widescreen setup is 720*480, which would explain the results you

It does run on the MacBookPro, but currently requires Rosetta. I got my MBP some days ago but did not find the time to test it more in depth, but I will let you know as soon as I can say something about the performance.

The current version does not have a “P2” option. But it plays many QuickTime formats in realtime without transcoding, and the V11 version that will be released in June will be able to work with DVCProHD files in realtime. Have tried everything I can think of in the past – different decks, Media100 settings, Mac OS’s, different Mac’s, different Media100 HD boards – even my Media100 reseller spent some time with my Mac and after changing boards, macs, OS’s, decks they still couldn’t solve the problem. Everytime I master (mostly SD using 10bit HD setting) Media100 HD always masters 1 frame late on the tape (have obviously tried mastering using other compression settings as well). Spent a lot of time and money trying to solve this problem and it is still my biggest problem with Media100 HD (originally Media100 never acknowledged that there was a problem!).”
