    Hi all,
Working on a 16 x 9 project digitized using Media100sd 8.2.1. We then take the files to AE 6.5 on our G5 w/Media100hd for compositing/colour correcting etc. The ae project is set up for 16 x 9 lower field first and rendered using the M100 codec. It comes out with the jitters (like bad progressive video). The problem is not as pronounced when we use the animation codec. When we do some of the renders on the SD system it is smooth. How can we get it smooth on the HD system?
    Thanks for any input,
    lc

    Hi Floh,
We are NTSC, 720 x 486 in AE widescreen with the clips interpreted as ntsc widescreen lower field first rendering to the Media100 720 codec in on the Media100HD system. Output module is set up for lower field first in AE.
    Thanks,

Are you sure that you are NTSC widescreen 720*486? The default NTSC widescreen setup is 720*480, which would explain the results you

Yes, very sure. I have checked it several times also done multiple renders of several variations. I will keep on trying.

Send me a AE project file (without the media) with something in the Render Queue, and I will have a look.

    Lukkee,
your Comps are 720*480 instead of 720*486 which gives you the problem you are seeing. Go to your comp settings (CMD-K) and set them to 720*486 widescreen

Thanks Floh, I will re-render. I guess it pays to double check everything (everyone!)
