Ok, but going a bit further…

on the main comp, i got a camera, that is already rotaded and etc…
inside the pre-comp there is a 3D layer… how to make it always “looking” into the camera angle?

Well, actually wiggler is not an option… because i would need to do it layer by layer…
I got this comp with about 800 layers..
they are all lined up making some rows, but kinda rotated.. filling an image that will be full screen later..
what I need now, is a script (not expression) to mess up the layers a bit… to loose this row aspect.. and i just dont want to move just a bit each layer…
thats why i thought a script would be the way..
my layers are all 2D seeds. (cotton, rice, etc.)

This comp is not animated yet…
im going for layout aproval, then i will animate it…

    got it?

    Thanks by the way

Ok… I’m gonna work with BetaSP, DV and HDV. Maybe Digibeta.
    Not planning to go HD.

And i tought that an internal drive was fastest then a FW800 drive.
    am I wrong?

Down here in Brazil, video equip. is sooo expensive, that’s why i’m asking for advices…
of course i want a RAID, but the cost will be another QUAD, wich i’ll pay almost U$ 6000 in here.
prices here are just too high.

    thankz

September 14, 2005 at 4:02 pm in reply to: Imac G5 2.0 and iLugger sounds great BUT…

well, I have worked on a HDV project and my dual G4 didn’t have realtime on that. and I had to waste time on rendering.
    portability is not the point.
and a powermac G5 will be expensive to me, as I live in Brazil and Apple Stuff here is so much expensive.

if and when I’m going to buy a G5, it will be in US and bring it with me downhere. even with my travel expensives, the G5 will be cheapper.

I really wanted a Dual 1.8 or 2.0 Powermac G5, BUT… no money for that.
and a thought that a Imac G5 would be perfect to transport it here and will increase the speed of my work.

    any comments about that?
    suggestions?

    thanks Jerry
