I’ll try right after i install the CS3 master series which i just received by UPS 🙂

Meanwhile i wonder if the mistake came from what i did in Illustor while editing the paths or due to export settings.

Can you tell me therotically if live tracing a picture, converting to live paint then expand before exporting for proAnim is good practice?

    Thank you

I would hand draw a stroke or a path using pencil tool in illustrator, mask it, and reveal it progressivly. I would time-warp it so its pace matches the dialogue or sound whatever.

Hopefully one of the AE new releases offers this possibility. Such wonderful animations need to be applied to more than texts.

Oops seems like the link doesnt always drive toward that ad, too bad. Well what i mean by “burts of images”, you can see them mostly in music videos many images running fast. Can it be achieved by simply placing one image per frame in PP or is there any other tool to use or other technic?

Thanks for your input. It was one path with several strokes in appearance palette indeed.

“Like I said the artist shaded it and had some taste. It’s on Lynda.com and they
sell Tutorial DVDs for digital artists”

I am suscribed to lynda.com online libraries can you give the name of that title? or please give a hint of the technics used to “shade it and have some taste”?

This is the cartoony look i wanna give to some of my upcoming projects, thanks for helping.
