So looks like I found what the problem is (at least I hope so). I have tried a different sequence with the same setting and this problem doesn’t occur there so I think it is the BG document I’m using that for some reason is causing it.
In the new sequence I am using a different BG Jpeg Document with the same effects but there is no issue there.
So the solution- replace the BG Jpeg layer …

Thanks for you time Walter and stay safe!

    Walter,

full resolution doesn’t change the frame it’s just higher in resolution on the viewer

Here’s screen shots of the doc size and the effects for this specific sequence

that’s what it is supposed to look like . I also tried exporting a jpeg file or a DPX nothing works …this usually doesn’t happen and I work on my machine a lot but I admit usually I work with MOV files so it must be some sort of setting I am not aware of

    Hi ,

So what I found out is that layers that are jpeg have caused it . When I turned it of the problem doesn’t exist. How do I force the jpeg layers that have a lot of effects on them to maintain resolution?

    Hi Walter,

Thanks for replying …so what I found out in the meantime is that when I turned off layers that were Jpegs and only kept the MOV layers the problem is gone so now I have to figure out how to force those jpeg files which have a lot of effects on them to maintain the resolution

    Any clue ?

    Eve
