Hay there!
i have a advc mini, grassvaley, and want to import high 8 material in my Macos X, Version 10.6.8
the beginning of the tape is ok, but later on, after half an hour or so, or even less (sometimes i have to stop the tape and recapture because there are drop outs) it is a sync.
2 and when i import it into FCP, it says: i have to recapture it again.
does anyone know what to do about this?

oh thanks! but why he cannot find it anymore? i cannot open them in quicktime.
i dont remeber i have thrown it away.

is it because he could not make the files longer then 10 minutes?

hay!
i have a question: i select a clip in the sequence (FCP 7.0.3) and choose “select affliated clips” with my right mouse knob, and it does not show the affliated clips. do you have any idea why?

Hay!!

May I ask a question on this matter?
i have captured a clip on my G5 with the camera where the material is shoot on, and then i copied it to a hard disk.
that hard disk i connected to my macbook, and openend the clip in the project.
then i did Stop-detect brakes. but to my surprise he made a break at every half second!for a clip only half an hour.
before i have never had any problem with detect stop-break.
do you know what happened?

i am using Plural eyes in fcp. before it worked very good, but now it does not work. it happende to me last week: now and then it works, and then it does not work.

i have put detect stop break on a clip, and the clip is broken up in 50 bits!! i have captured the clip ith my G5, and now i am working on my laptop macbook.is that the problem?
