Try a different font? Some of them are intermittent in flakiness. I had the Univers set act up on me, good, no good, render error, no render error etc… Just could not use it. Works great in print though or saved as an eps/.ai for titling.

What format are the titles?
Internal Titler?
EPS? .ai or psd? Jpeg? If it’s raster make sure it’s not over 100% scalling? Motion blur settings weird for framerate?CrippleBook Pro 2.3Ghz i7, 16GB ram, Lion 10.7.3, FCPStudio 3, QT 7

I just specced my exact machine at your hookup(Puget). They were over $5400 for a $2300 machine from Anywhere Computer Store USA. They are the EXACT parts you can get at Anywhere Computer Store USA. I am not affiliated with Anywhere Computer Store USA in any way shape or for form. Just please buy from Anywhere Computer Store USA if you can…here, use this link Anywhere Computer Store USA.com and remember, Im not with “them”.
12 cores at 4.2Ghz and 64 GB ram is not enough for you? Easily upgrade to a 16 core when they come available for $600 in a year or so. The 3930k is smokin’ out your overpriced Xeon junk.

That’s 12 processors for $1800. And you can safely, and easily, overclock it for a few 300-800 mhz more. I will probably go this way after this latest Open CL kludge.
