Hi Rick.
Make life easy for yourself.
Make a bin for each camera (or how ever you wish to organize). Then just import to one bin at a time.
No trans coding, no extra anything.
You had better back these file to an external drive. ASAP.

Personally, I do not trust the cloud to store any media and like Todd said, download times can be forever. And one of these days someone is going to hack places like Google storage, and tat ain’t gonna be a good thing.
I agree that backing up to your own drive system and lock the backup in a fire, flood and theft proof place.

Good morning Tero.
When I play my MP4 in VLC video is brighter. When I import back to Pro, chroma is not the same. Same deal in QuickTime.
The problem is getting a good setting in the players and then have everyone I deal with set their system to match.
Not wanting to overstay my welcome, can you please point me to the place where I can adjust playback in VLC or QT?

Hi Carlen.
When I was editing at home last month, I brought my project and media with me on a 1TB SSD.
Even though I transferred everything to my 4TB Raid, I accidentally edited the entire 90 minute video from the SSD over the weekend.
It worked GREAT. It was lightning fast and no problems running Premiere Pro.
If you do have to edit from an SSD, you MUST back up everything, and save your project to another drive every day. If the SSD dies – well lets not talks about that.

It’s been a while since I’ve used the adjustment layer and I forgot that we have to add the Transform effect.

The media is .MXF at 1080 out of a Sony PMW-200.
I never had any trouble until the latest update, and the efx aren’t that crazy complicated.
If I wait for a few minutes, the problem goes away, Crazy, yes?
