What Model is the model of the Eizo? What is the frame rate of media you are testing with when you connect DVI or Displayport?

The HDMI standard gives you YUV out of HDMI. Does your CG series not have an HDMI input? If it does what happens if you just run HDMI? What is the model number of the Eizo? Do you have the firmware up to date on the HD Link. What settings do you have for the HDLink?

Change the Quicktime H264 MOV files extension to MP4 and then try again. CS5.5 did not have great performance with Multicam and Quicktime files.

How did you verify the signal is outputting on the card individually and what is the video output framerate/I or P.

No I was and am able to firmware update them without an SSD drive. Sometimes I have to hit the power button again when the camera is on and the Utility launched for the camera to be seen but that always worked if it didn’t find it right off.

What is your ram usage when the project opens? What is it at when the Comp slows down or is it the UI slowing down?

The camera has to be on and plugged in USB when you launch the utility. If it shows the message for long just hit the power button on the camera but don’t hold it down. See if it will detect finally. Don’t plug it in to the USB3 if you have that.

Well now it makes sense with the Software MPE showing the Video card reset issue. All of the GPU’s get flaky when the temp’s are 85C or higher.

BTW how do you have the Monitors attached to the video card and do you have any device in the output chain such as a KVM or splitter?
