Complicated Projects Are MUCH Slower After Being Open For A Few Minutes (CS6)
I am used to older versions of After Effects and I am trying to figure out what I need to do to keep everything about the project as “FRESH” as it was when it was opened, in regards to ram usage etc..
I noticed everything is essentially automatically previewing by itself without me telling it to, etc.
And if I exit after effects after a few minutes and re-load everything I can make more progress more quickly on extra complicated compositions than if I leave it open for an hour straight and keep purging all memory, etc.I think you know what I’m talking about if you have had this problem before and overcame it. I tried changing some settings, but I don’t think they actually helped.

What is your ram usage when the project opens? What is it at when the Comp slows down or is it the UI slowing down?
