    Thanks Jon.

Tried the Sans Serif, but it doesn´t look good enough. I guess, as a general rule, YOU SHOULD NOT USE TEXT IN SUBPICTURE. Not cool.

I did like you proposed Mike, removed two of the memory sticks and surprisingly no crash, until after an hour of editing. Replaced the memory sticks with the other two and I was even able to go for one and a half hour without a crash. Don’t think any of the sticks are bad though, but it seems like premiere “likes” it better with only 2gb of RAM rather than 4gb.

Since anyway Windows only sees the 4gb as 3.25 (under winxp pro 32bit) I will stick with only the 2gb since it seems to run more smoothly with Premiere.

But the problem remains, even though it’s a bit better… Don’t know what I can do more. I was actually thinking that my problem could be related to the graphic card. I have the geforce 8800GT, was wondering if there is any possible tweaking to do with the graphic card settings. Anyone?

    Greetings.

    The project file is 57mb.

By memory, do you mean the RAM?

Well it does state that “the LCD can also be switched to 1:1 ratio, which partially shows the signal in its original native resolution.”

That should do it, or what do you think?

    Thanks.

There also seems to be a “little brother”: JVC DT-V20L1U 20″ for 1000$ at bhphoto. What do you think?

I’ve added the Panasonic rushes into the timeline, and it’s working like a charm. Needs some rendering, 1min rushes equals 1min rendering time, not a big deal.

    Thanks again Vincent.

  • What about the aspect ratio? It seems to me that the panasonic HD format is 960×720 whereas the JVC is at 1280×720?

  • Vincent.

    Thank you for your reply.

Have you ever done anything like this?
