Create a material, and in the color channel select the box with the 3 little dots, this will allow you to select the piece of video you want to use. after you selected it, select the drop down tap in the texture tab. select edit – animation i usually select loop in mode tab. Apply this material to the object you want to have the animation on.Thats it I hope this makes sense. Emmet

Hi Dave thanks for the advice at the moment i have various timelines with footage thats all synced up to external sound which was synced with a clapper board., this is what i was given to work with. so we are talking here about sequences with various formats apple pro res 25 being the main which is good because i wont have to touch that, i just need to convert everything else to match the apple pro res 25fps but if i convert my video this will then cause issues with my sync sound when i bring the footage back in. another question, if i convert the video and then dump the original to another drive as a backup disconnect that drive my timelines should all reconnect to my new converted media, thus saving me a lot of time? then i just need to figure out the audio. What do you think? Thanks Emmet

Try going into your Transparency channel and selecting Absorption Color and try different colors, also play around with the refraction and the Fresnel Reflectivity and in your color channel knock in up over a hundred. Hope this helps
