You can’t have a few open at the same time that you can shuffle emitters back and forth from. But the library manager has all your emitters listed on the right side of the screen and you can rearrange things pretty quickly
The best methodology is to create a new library based on whatever criteria you want (fire, for example) and pop through all the libraries and slide the fire related ones you want into the new library.
Alan has said that the next version will revamp the whole libraries system, which I think means you’ll get something closer to your wish.

There are two or three that deal with it at this link, the disintegration ones.

That’ll really depends on your final project size, but if you’re doing standard definition video, I’d do my text at 1024×512 or something before importing it into pI. You always want to go slightly bigger than the size of the size that your text will be on screen in the end.

It sounds like your images are coming in as a number of images rather than as a sequence. In Premiere, select the first image in the sequence and then check the “Numbered Stills” box at the bottom left side of the import window to bring the sequence in as a single clip.

They should lay down wherever you place them, at least they do when I tried to replicate your problem. You can try to reset placement of the emitter itself, rather than resetting the offset.
Could you upload a project file for us to have a look?

Aharon made a video tutorial, available here, that covers how to fix the problem.

When you’re in the Output Options page of the render settings, there’s a checkbox right at the bottom that says “Use audio from layer” and a drop-down to choose a layer. Find the one with your AVI on it from that list, and it should output the audio properly.

I had thought that Number was a particles per second count, but I just gave up and realized it doesn’t matter really.
Place a blank emitter on the stage, set the particle type’s Number graph to 30, and you’ll get 30 particles by frame 30 if you look at the emitters/particle number counter in the lower right status bar area of the screen. That seems right for lower numbers, but once you get higher (60 and up) it’s hard to tell because particles start to die off as new ones are born unless you start adjusting your Life and other than by sitting there and counting the particles, it’s almost impossible to know.

I’m retired. Though I do meditate frequently on the subject of particles and create theoretical emitters in my mind, which are so awesome that to actually implement them would cause the universe to fold in on itself and all matter to cease existing.

These look great, but I think you should’ve made more Charmed orbing effects instead.
