Under “Screen Matte” go to “Screen Despot White”. you’ll find a selection called “replace Method”, choose “Hard Color” and see what that does. It cleared my chunky video right up.

I do have the 5.5 update installed. Are there any others that I’m not finding?

I seem to be good with my updates. It’s done it since day one with this CS5 version. It’s got some other weird problems too that I don’t like. Sometimes it drops the audio off a spot when it renders or commands don’t respond.

Yes, for AE CS 5. Don’t have the latest version.

This version used to run properly on this machine, but somewhere in it’s history it was deleted or fiddled with and I just can’t figure out why it’s not working now. Seems like re-installing would take care of it.
