After Effects CS5.5
Since using AE CS5.5, I find that my projects when reopened have many source files missing, even though I have not changed the location of the original files. It turns out to be really inconvenient. Is there a solution for this? Never had this problem with any other version.

Yes, for AE CS 5. Don’t have the latest version.

I seem to be good with my updates. It’s done it since day one with this CS5 version. It’s got some other weird problems too that I don’t like. Sometimes it drops the audio off a spot when it renders or commands don’t respond.

I do have the 5.5 update installed. Are there any others that I’m not finding?

You may have other apps that are interfering with how AE works. WHich apps are running, concurrent with AE? These could be system add-ons as well as full-blown apps.
It’s best to identify which app is creating the issues.
