Well they are both 3D groups and it’s not working. However, I just tried switching the bird back to a 2D group and now it seems to be working. It also works if I switch the tree back to a 2D group. I don’t know what’s going on, but I seem to be finding a work around (at least for the moment.)

I should also add that the bird is the group of layers. Same goes for the tree. I have left all the layers on the Z axis at zero and have only adjusted the groups.

Hey thanks for the “convert to keyframes” trick. I know that will come in handy.

I found something that I think worked. I was fooling around with linked behaviors (which seems pretty similar to match move). At the end of the behavior, I moved forward one frame. Of course the object wanted to jump back to its origin, but I turned on keyframe recording and moved the object back to where I wanted it to stay and it seems to be staying.

OK I’m trying to do this, but not having much luck. I found the keyframe on the object, but not on the behavior. When I drag the behavior back out longer then where I want it to end, then the object just wants to follow the bird around again. I tried dragging the keyframe out as well but that didn’t seem to work out either. Any other ideas. I really appreciate your help. Thanks.

I want to dissolve from a close up shot of my subject to a wide shot of the same subject. Kind of a passage of time thing.

Thank you. That sounds simple enough. Do I need to change the frame rate for any reason?

I mean lines all through the image. Maybe some kind of interlacing thing?

The render worked after turning off one of the lights. Don’t know if the light was somehow defective or there were just too many shadow calculations going on from the 3 lights that I was using in the project. Don’t know, but thankfully I’m moving forward again.
